GleAM Records
GleAM Records is an independent record label based in Maglie (Lecce), specializing in jazz recordings. Its mission is to give voice to the new trends in Italian and international jazz, while contributing to the audio restoration and recovery of previously unreleased historical tapes. The label was founded in 2017 by Angelo Mastronardi, jazz pianist, producer, and music publisher.
It has a catalogue of 44 releases and follows five specific editorial lines:
- CONTEMPORARY JAZZ – cross-over productions oriented toward experimentation within the jazz language;
-
POST-BOP – productions aligned with the jazz tradition, with a particular preference for the post-bop sound;
-
LIVE SESSIONS – in keeping with the spirit of this music, this line gathers professionally recorded live concerts by artists on the roster;
-
JAZZ GIANTS – previously unreleased tapes by great Masters of international jazz, now part of our archive, carefully restored and issued in limited CD and vinyl editions;
-
REISSUES – vinyl reissues of forgotten masterpieces from the Italian and international jazz scene.
