Fingerstyle guitarist Ulli Bögershausen founded the LAIKA-RECORDS label in 1989, which has been releasing jazz and world music in the centre of Bremen's old town ever since. In order to give Bögershausen more time for his musical activities, Peter Cronemeyer took over the management of the label. In addition to Ulli Bögershausen's releases, the label has released albums by Martina Auer, Nadia Birkenstock, Clarini Trumpet Consort, Johannes Enders, Ulf Meyer, Martin Wind, Lisa Wulff, Rainer Böhm MSM Schmidt, Ernie Watts and many more.
