      Dieses Album wurde vom Russisch-Orthodoxen Kathedralchor von Paris aufgenommen und enthält eine gekürzte Version des wunderschönen orthodoxen Requiems oder Begräbnisgottesdienstes, der im 8. Jahrhundert vom Heiligen Johannes von Damaskus geschrieben wurde. Johannes von Damaskus komponierte auch das Stundengebet zu Ostern und hatte einen großen Einfluss auf die orthodoxe Liturgie. Das Album enthält auch eine Reihe von Hymnen an eine "sehr menschliche" Jungfrau Maria. Die Linernotes erklären die Umstände von Johannes' Glauben, die zum Schreiben des Requiems führten, und die Themen der Hymnen.
