      In 2005, Szabolcs Zempléni won First Prize in the International ARD Music Competition in Munich. He has pursued an international solo career since then, which has already taken him to Asia, the USA and many European musical centers. He has already performed solo concertos under the direction of Ivan Fischer, Yakov Kreizberg, Jonathan Nott and Michael Sanderling. Born in 1981 in Budapest, Szabolcs Zempléni plays solo horn in the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra and was appointed Professor for Horn at the Academy of Music in Trossingen in 2010.
