“Ten years of silence. Three albums as a single act.”

In the language of numbers, ten represents the closing of a cycle. It's the point where the past finds form and memory. Three, on the other hand, is the number of change, closing and opening at the same time. The fracture necessary for something to be reborn.
Ten, like the time it takes to get to this point.
Three, like the chapters of a story that allows no shortcuts. It is in this tension between ten years of waiting and the third album that “Late Ever After” is born, released in February by Liburia Records and distributed throughout Europe by Xango and Galileo Music.

The title evokes a suspended time: a fairy tale that arrives "late”, a delayed but inevitable happy ending. It is the band's reflection on a long, complex, and transformative journey: the past fulfilled, the present reinvented, and the promise of what is yet to come. The heart of the sound remains Claudia Sorvillo's delicate and intense voice, accompanied by Giacomo Pedicini's production and arrangements, which together shape the band's unique atmosphere.

The result is an intense, layered album that maintains the band's identity while taking it into a more adult dimension, where anger and fragility coexist, and urgency gives way to clarity. The album opens with Ozzy Osbourne's "Breaking All the Rules" and closes with Iron Maiden's "Only the Good Die Young": two iconic songs that embody Driving Mrs. Satan's philosophy. The first is an invitation to break patterns and conventions, to free music from predefined limits; the second celebrates the vitality and courage to face destiny, transforming the urgency and original energy into a new, personal and intense form.

Formed in 2012 between Naples and London, Driving Mrs. Satan are known for reinterpreting heavy metal classics with an acoustic and intimate approach. They participated in the TTT (Titel, Thesen, Temperamente) program on Das Erste in Germany, achieving international acclaim. Claudia Sorvillo and Giacomo Pedicini have built a career through EPs, albums, and European Tours, reinterpreting artists such as Metallica, Slayer, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, and Anthrax. After their 2013 EP and debut, Popscotch (2014, Agualoca Records), the band reached an international audience, particularly in Germany with their reinterpretation of Metallica's "Battery." Their second album, Did You Mrs. Me? (2016), confirmed this trajectory, taking the project on tour throughout Europe.

“Late Ever After” is not just a return, but a sonic ritual of maturity, where ten years of experience become material and three albums transform into a single, conscious act. A journey that blends anticipation, memory, and rebirth, faithful to the band's unique identity.
