New York’s legendary vocalist Shelley Hirsch, known for her fearless improvisations, vocal storytelling, and
boundary-pushing performance art, joins forces with one of the most exciting rhythm sections emerging from
the Swiss and Austrian Alps: Christian Weber (double bass) and Alfred Vogel (drums & percussion).
Hirsch’s unmistakable vocal world—shifting effortlessly between song, spoken word, noise, character shifts, and
pure sonic exploration—meets the razor-sharp intuition of Weber and Vogel, two musicians celebrated for their
adventurous interplay and dynamic versatility. Together, they create an electrifying trio that navigates
between improvised music, experimental soundscapes, and unexpected lyricism.
This collaboration brings Hirsch’s New York avant-garde roots into dialogue with Alpine energy and precision,
resulting in a performance that is as daring as it is deeply human—unpredictable, humorous, raw, and always
alive.
A meeting of three uncompromising voices in contemporary improvised music—unmissable for anyone drawn to
bold, forward-thinking sound.
