Hege Rimestad is known as a pioneer of the electric fiddle since the 1970s. On the album Kråkeslåtter, the joy of playing and strong melodies take center stage in a playful ensemble of musicians, handpicked to give each track its own unique character. The music leads us through wild dance rhythms and picturesque soundscapes, where the fiddle gets to perform in variety of sounds. Rimestad’s influence from Indian music is clearly evident and further expanded by versatile fellow musicians.
