Personally, the physical shock affects me more – that is why after seeing Maruja Garrido's show, I immediately wanted to bring her to perform in Paris. She is a hurricane on stage! This gypsy on fire started her career as a dancer, but she is certainly one of the most extraordinary popular singers that I have met In Spain, where they call her La Maria de España and Salvador DALI said that she was "SU-BLI-ME"... In any case, something unusual is happening with her. Perhaps she is more within our reach than other Spanish singers because she applies all her flamenco background to all the music of the world, from Adamo to Sinatra and not forgetting Albéniz.
