To Touch, To Kiss, To Die

English Songs of Purcell, Matteis, Dowland

      Valer Barna-Sabadus, countertenor
      Olga Watts, harpsichord
      Axel Wolf, lute
      Pavel Serbin, cello

The CD “Hasse reloaded” was enthusiastically received by the critics and was included on the German Record Critics’ Best List.
OehmsClassics is delighted that Valer Barna- Sabadus has proven his ability again one year later. In September 2012, he recorded English songs of Purcell, Matteis and Dowland in the Himmelfahrtskirche in Munich. It is diffi cult to say which song is the most beautiful one, for each is more beautiful than the other.
