Does the world seem stranger and stranger to you, with each passing day? Fear not: WOBBLE8 are here to
sonically explore the most famous models humanity has invented so far to explain our weird world.
Wobblites, unite! Bandleader Valentin Schuster (drums) combines forces with Sofia Salvo (baritone
saxophone), Sebastian Pfeifer (synths, cursed cymbal) and Dan Peter Sundland (Bass VI, voice), to create a
metal-influenced, experimental new genre of electrified darkness. A doomy, moody meddle of wobbly
patterns with haunting melodies on top - sometimes pulling against each other, feeling like being
spaghettified by a black hole.
It’s a collage of elements: both analogue & digital, like the rusted metal and ancient parchment on the cover
art that adorns their debut album “The Moon is not there when nobody looks.” An ever-changing slide
puzzle with moving parts that shift in and out of place.
“Our universe is inherently wobbly,” some very smart quantum physicist once said, so it is
about time to make music that represents that!
