'Dueño de la nada' is the title of the new album by Agustín Carbonell, a guitarist, composer and flamenco singer from Madrid, and the name of his music project. Also known by the stage name “El Bola”, the musician comes from a family with close ties to music.
Born in 1967, Agustín Carbonell is from a Romani family with deep roots in the flamenco genre, and he is the nephew of the legendary guitarist Sabicas. At the age of 13 he began playing in various tablaos and venues in his hometown. He soon appeared in shows such as ‘Cumbre Flamenca’, which premiered on Broadway and in Hollywood. He has shared the stage with flamenco legends such as Paco de Lucía, Enrique Morente and Diego ‘El Cigala’.
His new album, Dueño de la nada, blends traditional flamenco with jazz and other traditional musical influences.
