No, we are so back. The German/Danish quartet returns in the form of a super limited EP Cassette Mixtape featuring six songs you can only physically own in this exclusive format. Wuuut? Sounds crazy but it’s true. There’s no better way to enjoy the nostalgic compositions of bandleader/drummer Johannes Koch. Along with Asger Nissen’s passionate sax-noodlin’, Thorbjørn Stefansson’s warm, experienced bass, Johannes “Jojo” Mann’s bright, shimmering guitar and just a little extra synth for that perfect retro twist.

This mixtape features 3 brand new tracks, a live version, a swanky demo, and even a phat remix from Regensburg producer Jellysquash. It’s jazz that’s best enjoyed from the comfort of your cabrio: for best results, drive with the top down, and volume way up. So how is the new stuff sounding, you ask? Things kick off with a fresh composition from Jojo: “5 Gum I” starts out pretty chill, but watch out for that feisty little BPM switch-up on the tail end! This shift is the perfect segue into its groovy sequel: “5 Gum II” - which is undoubtedly the feelgood jazz hit of the Summer. You’ll be stank-facing the whole time through its driving sax and synth magic. And just incase the double-gum wasn’t enough new material for you, the boys have blessed us with a third new gem: “Alphabet Shirt”. Talk about some of Johannes’ tightest fills yet! This trio of tunes is all mixed down in a super-lofi style that is sure to warm your heart, (and your speakers).
