With deep roots in the traditional music of Nord-Østerdalen and Trøndelag, Qvam/Plassen presents its debut album as a duo—a folk music release in a new guise, blending catchy riqs, goat horn, and folk song. Bendik and Synnøve are two young and highly sought-after musicians with backgrounds in both traditional music and other genres. Through more than ten years of collaboration, they have developed a unique playing style featuring goat horn, lyre, guitar, willow flute, and nuanced vocals, together creating a soundscape that is both intimate and powerful.
