One man, one dream, one sound. With his
new album “Ramblin’ Man”, Rusty Stone
fulfills a long-held wish – to create a completely
self-produced, acoustic-driven
record that captures his deep love for
blues and genuine, handcrafted music.
Produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered
entirely by Rusty Stone in 2025 at the Mill
Way Studio in Switzerland, the album features
twelve original songs, all written
and composed by him. But he didn’t stop
there – Rusty played every single instrument
himself, from various acoustic guitars
(in multiple tunings) to bass, mandolin,
banjo, ukulele (on “Have Fun Tonight”),
harmonica, several slide guitars,
and of course, vocals.
The result is an intimate, authentic, and
musically rich album that honors the roots
of the blues while telling deeply personal
stories. Tracks like “Nothing to Regret”
offer autobiographical glimpses into
Rusty’s life, while songs such as “Wicked
and Wild” and “Dirty Blues” deliver the
kind of playful, suggestive humor once
found in the works of the old blues masters.
The album closes with the instrumental
“Spanish Dream”, a delicate and soulful
piece on classical guitar.
“Ramblin’ Man” is more than an album –
it’s a tribute to the blues, to musical freedom,
and to the dream of doing it all
yourself.
A record that proves: real blues comes
from the heart – and sometimes from one
single room in Switzerland.
