After many recordings and concerts alongside great musicians (Angelo Debarre, Thomas Dutronc, Biréli Lagrène, Stéphane Sanseverino, Stochelo Rosenberg, Lulu Gainsburg, etc.) Marius Apostol presents his new project: “StradiMarius Quartet”. This is his new alum after his first one as a leader in 2011, the very successful “Bohemian Jazz Project”.

To musically celebrate his 50th birthday, he decided to come back, accompanied by impeccable companions with whom he often played these last years: William Brunard on bass, Noé Reinhardt on guitar, and Christophe Bras on drums. Two other musicians join half the tracks of the album: amazing Ionica Minune, whom we can call the accordion Charlie Parker, and Kosty Lacatus, who plays the cimbalom.

With this new album, a true festival from the beginning to the end, Marius Apostol offers himself and us a splendid birthday present.
