The C.O.B.'s extraordinary concept consists of the fact that its musicians are at the same time their own collaborators as well as composers. There is no fixed instrumentation: the composers can choose instruments from the band pool to develop an innovative orchestral repertoire whose stylistic influences range from classical to jazz and from folk to free. The music written for this band therefore knows no exclusion zones. So with the different instrumentations of the individual pieces, the charisma of each composition also varies, and with it its individual charm.
