Saxophonist Tobias Haug (1997*) leads a cool band of young musicians from Germany and Switzerland. All members played in the past years in the national youth jazz orchestra (Bujazzo) of Germany. The group is well-known for their powerful and swinging music, which is influenced by hard bop legends like Dexter Gordon, Art Blakey, Cedar Walton and others. On the new album they present original compositions written by Tobias Haug. In march 2019, the band won a scholarship at the Werner Richard – Dr. Carl Dörken foundation. In 2021 they achieved a second place at the Sparda Jazz award.
