Pedro Ojesto's fourth album with Flamenco jazz Company pays homage to the significance of the geographical point "Km0" -"La Puerta del Sol"" in Madrid- from a cultural, historical and personal identification point of view. This square, the symbolic centre of this country's roads, represents the platform for the interaction of all cultures, where lovers of classical music, rock, jazz, flamenco and all the currents that have passed through it can be identified. It is a symbol of the cosmopolitan and multicultural character of the city of Madrid.

In this work Pedro Ojesto identifies this Km0 as a reference symbol of his roots, where the musical and cultural influences he has received throughout his life filter and converge, and with them, and with absolute respect for all of them, makes an exercise of freedom -not subjected to the orthodox norms of each genre- to develop a personal work, taking one more step in the development of his own language.

The album contains nine tracks, all of them composed by Pedro Ojesto, except two: one is a tribute to one of his great references, Bill Evans, the song "Very Early", performed as a duet with the guitar of Mario Montoya and adapted to the "feeling" and style of some "jaleos"; and the other "Carmen" is a beautiful composition by one of the greatest flamenco composers, Juan Antonio Salazar; it is also performed as a duet with one of the great emerging “cantaores”, Israel Fernández, with whom he shared many years in the Flamenco Jazz Company. The other songs are original compositions by Pedro Ojesto, performed in different formats with FJC plus a specific guest such as “cantaor” Guadiana, or trumpeter Enriquito.
