NOOLI is the current sound of folk music. The young city women compose and perform only tunes of their own. The fiddler Jonna Lankinen’s and harmonium player Oona Harju’s roots from Kaustinen blend in with the urban beat of the city. The young virtuosos' gigs are a stunning and danceable combo of breathtaking playing and wistful melodies. NOOLI released their debut album in 2019 and was one of 2019 Kaustinen Folk Music Festival Showcase -artists, where are annually chosen new promising folk music names.
