The World Music band ZOOBAZAR from Spain surprises us once again with an extraordinary and astonishing new album “DOS” full of artistic and musical expression. Produced by Carlos Raya and mastered by Richard Dodd (Nashville), this album has become already a jewel of World music.
After a great debut with their first album “UNO” in 2011, which has been well received nationally as well as internationally, Amir John Haddad (Arabic oud, Greek bouzouki, Turkish saz, mandola), Pablo Martin Jones (drums, percussions, kalimba), Diego Galaz (violin, mandolin, saw) and Hector Tellini achieve to take us on a journey among Mediterranean music styles with that touch of fusion that distinguishes Zoobazar.
They travel musically speaking along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and know how to combine very skillfully many music styles such as Iberian, Greek, Turkish and Middle Eastern folklore as well as Balkan beat, Indian or north African music with elements of Funk, Rock and Jazz.
Their experience, personality and artistry allows them to expose a very creative and unique musical concept based on an open minded approach towards music and the desire to find new musical horizons.
ZOOBAZAR achieves a very personal, incomparable and unique sound. The album “DOS” hides an artistic and musical maturity which helps us to connect with the universal language of music.
