Mísia, a dreamy fado singer, a singing actress, teller of her own stories and the stories of others, openly admits that she is an animal sentimental, a sentimental animal. The expression serves as the title of her new album, which marks a new chapter in a career that has spanned three decades and brought her much international acclaim. Her career has now brought her to an ambitious new project, directed by Wolf-Dieter Karwatky, an award-winning producer and recording engineer who has worked with some of the biggest names on the classical music scene, winning Grammies and producing successful projects with Deutsche Grammophon in a career spanning 50 years. With a carefully selected cast, Mísia has recorded songs to which she has already lent her voice in the past. She has also recorded "Qué he sacado con quererte" by Violeta Parra and other surprises.
