Solk is a group from Terres de l'Ebre and Maestrat. Through music, they are dedicated to searching for territorial roots in various ways, both through old songs and recovering old instruments, but also through poetry and even searching for a closer past through the recovery of historical memory. Some of its members come from ESMUC, the Liceo or the Taller de Musics and have participated in projects by Miquel Gil, Carlos Santos, Pep Gimeno "Botifarra" or Pepet y Marieta. With their first album, "Herencia", they were finalists in the 2017 Ovidi Valencian Music Awards for Newcomer Group and Best Folk Album and the year after they were finalists in the 2018 Enderrock Awards for best album and best folk song. As for the book, it includes the lyrics of the songs accompanied by texts signed by Josep Piera, Eva Máñez, Imán Moutaouakil Boujnani, Amanda Prats, Carme Cruelles, Alicia Coscollano, NeusO lives, Raül Sanchís and Javier Sebastià Redó and photographs by Manel Bellver, Eva Máñez, Paula Aler Moreno, Paolo Donadei, Maite Sanmartin, David Segarra and Tòfol Cruz.
