Marcus Løvdal band won the Union Blues Cup in 2013 at Notodden Bluesfestival, and became the «Union band 2014». In the wake of this , the band has traveled across Norway to meet their listeners and audience at the many different blues clubs around the country and other music scenes. Now they are ready to release their debut album. The songs had been ready for a long time before they were recorded. The only thing lacking was to record them and find the right producer. Some songs have been finished in rehearsal, others have been worked on over time. The band feels that the songs and the album clearly shows who they are as a band. Although genre is not something they take into account, they have their feet firmly planted in blues. With producer Leif Johansen, they have managed to capture the energy and the joy that Marcus Løvdal band shows when they play live. That makes this album an energetic and honest debut album.
