Nuevos Medios releases the brand new album by one of the members of flamenco band La Barbería del Sur and also
member of one of the most important flamenco dynasties of gypsy guitarists: the Habichuela, whose father, master Luis
Habichuela, was always an inspiration in the musical career of Pepe Luis Carmona.
After some years of silence, he is back surrounded by friends and colleagues in music to give birth this new album
entitled “La vida llega” (Life arrives), where he updates and develops his personal vision of flamenco art.
On this new journey he has been accompanied by a bunch of important musicians from the actual flamenco scene,
none other than Agustín Carbonell ‘Bola’, Pepe Habichuela, Josemi Carmona, Raimundo Amador, Jesús de
Rosario, Kiki Cortiñas, Josep Salvador and Juan Carmona ‘Camborio’ on flamenco guitars; besides other special
guests such as Jorge Pardo, Antonio Carmona, Lucky Losada, Yelsy Heredia, Antonio Ramos ‘Maca’ and Israel
Suárez ‘Piraña’, amongst others.
The album has been written and produced by Pepe Luis Carmona Habichuela himself and includes two cover versions:
Antonio Vega’s ‘El sitio de mi recreo’ and Antonio Flores’ ‘Cosas mías’.
